These general terms and conditions apply to all products and services offered by IL PINGUINO BV, regardless of the sales channel (including but not limited to: physical shop, Scoop 'n Ride, webshop, delivery platforms such as Deliveroo, B2B sales, and events). By using our services or placing an order, the customer explicitly agrees to these terms and conditions.
IL PINGUINO BV offers handcrafted ice cream and related products through various sales channels: the scoop shop in Leuven, the mobile Scoop 'n Ride ice cream bike, delivery platforms (e.g. Deliveroo), direct B2B orders, and events. The product range may vary by channel and is subject to availability and seasonal influence.
In-store payments are accepted via Bancontact, cash, and Pinguino gift cards. Credit cards such as American Express are not accepted. Advance payment is required for webshop orders, on delivery platforms, and for events with more than 100 guests (a 50% deposit may be requested).
For deliveries via third-party platforms, IL PINGUINO BV is responsible until the order is picked up by the courier. We are not liable for delays or errors during transport. For in-store pickups, the customer is responsible for collecting the order on time. By accepting our terms, the customer also consents to the use of their personal data by Pinguino for contact purposes related to the order.
IL PINGUINO BV is not liable for any damage resulting from misuse of the products, allergic reactions, or errors by third-party service providers such as courier companies. In case of incorrect delivery, we assist the customer in contacting the relevant platform.
Our products are made in an environment where lactose, gluten, nuts, and soy are processed. Allergen information is available in-store, on product labels, and upon request from staff. The range changes frequently; not all flavours are available at all times.
Bookings for events via Scoop 'n Ride must be made through reservatie.pinguino.be. Cancellation terms apply as described in section 4. In case of bad weather, the event may be cancelled free of charge if it cannot be moved indoors. For larger events (>100 guests), a deposit may be required.
Discounts, promotions, and special offers are always temporary and subject to specific terms stated in the accompanying communication. IL PINGUINO BV reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice.
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the Leuven district have jurisdiction.
IL PINGUINO BV processes customer data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect data necessary for providing our services, marketing communications (such as newsletters), administrative purposes, or legal compliance.
